Together Towards Motherhood: Female Fertility Testing
Joint motherhood
How can women's couples make motherhood a reality?
It can be achieved through various assisted reproduction techniques, mainly using donor sperm, and options such as Artificial Insemination (AI), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or the ROPA method.
What does sperm donation involve in this process?
Sperm donation is an essential step. At Avida Fertility, we work with certified sperm banks to ensure the quality and diversity of donors, allowing them to select one that fits their preferences.
What is the ROPA (Partner Egg Reception) method?
The ROPA method is unique for couples of women: one of the couples provides the eggs, which are fertilized with donor sperm through IVF, and the other couple receives the embryos to carry the pregnancy to term.
When is In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) considered?
IVF is considered an option if Artificial Insemination has not been successful, if there are fertility factors in any of the couples, or if you want to perform the ROPA method.
What medical follow-up do we receive?
We provide medical, emotional and legal support throughout the shared motherhood process, with specialized follow-up for both.
Fertility Testing Process
Let's start your journey!
Comprehensive fertility evaluation for both couples
We perform fundamental fertility tests for both women, including AMH analysis and antral follicle count using transvaginal ultrasound. Early evaluation optimizes success rates.
Personalized treatment planning
We developed an effective treatment plan based on test results considering age as a determining factor in female fertility. We determine the best strategy based on the quality and quantity of eggs available.
Cycle preparation and synchronization
We coordinate the preparation for the tests by keeping detailed records of the menstrual cycle and adopting healthy habits. It is recommended to avoid alcohol and tobacco at least three months before starting the process.
Specialized co-maternity process
We perform reciprocal IVF where one couple provides the eggs after ovarian stimulation, while the other couple is preparing to receive the embryos.
Ongoing monitoring and support
Medical and legal support throughout the process with specialized pregnancy monitoring and continuous support for both of them until the baby is born.
