Your Personalized Diagnosis:
Female Fertility Tests
What are female fertility tests?
Why is it important to test my fertility?
The goal is to find the clarity and options needed to take control of your reproductive future, giving you hope and success. Knowing your current status allows you to make informed decisions about your motherhood.
What type of tests does a female fertility evaluation include?
It usually includes hormonal tests (such as AMH, FSH), transvaginal ultrasound to evaluate the uterus and ovaries, and tests to check the patency of the fallopian tubes.
When is the ideal time to perform a fertility evaluation?
It's recommended if you've been trying to conceive for a long time without success, if you're over 35, or if you have a history of irregular cycles, endometriosis, PCOS, or previous pelvic surgery.
How long does the fertility evaluation process take?
The length may vary, but many of the tests are performed at specific phases of your menstrual cycle, and the full evaluation usually lasts between one and two cycles to get a clear picture.
What happens after I receive the results of my evaluation?
You will have a detailed consultation with a specialist who will explain the results, answer your questions and present you with the treatment or planning options that are most appropriate for your situation and wishes.
This is how the process of your diagnosis begins
Let's start your evaluation!
Initial specialist consultation
A specialist will assess your medical history, family history, lifestyle habits and perform a complete physical exam. Aspects such as personal medical history, family history of fertility problems and occupation will be addressed.
Specialized hormone tests
We evaluate hormones essential for reproductive function: AMH, FSH, LH, estradiol and progesterone. Some tests are performed at specific times in the menstrual cycle to get accurate results about your ovarian reserve and hormonal function.
Transvaginal ultrasound evaluation
We perform high-resolution transvaginal ultrasound for detailed visualization of the reproductive system, evaluation of the uterine structure, antral follicle count and detection of possible anomalies in the ovaries and uterus.
Complementary specialized tests
As needed, we perform hysterosalpingography to evaluate fallopian tube permeability, genetic studies when there is a relevant family history, and other tests specific to your particular case.
Interpretation and personalized plan
Our specialists evaluate all outcomes comprehensively considering age, complete medical history, lifestyle and environmental factors to develop a personalized and realistic treatment plan.
